Senior Cayce Hamilton signed her Letter of Intent to play soccer at (Div. II) Georgia College and State University.

The Pinecrest Academy center midfielder attended two GCSU soccer games and knew it was the place for her.

"It had everything I was looking for," Hamilton said. "Athletically and academically it was all there. The people there were nice and everything just clicked for me.

"It was just the sense of community, and unlike how other public schools are in the classroom, it’s a smaller environment and you’re able to get to know your teachers much better."

Hamilton leaves Pinecrest with the record for most goals scored in a season when she tallied 25 in her freshman campaign. She also garnered the Athletic Leadership Award and was voted team captain.

Hamilton plans to major in political science before attending law school, where she wants to become a sports agent.
