A look at the top Forsyth prep football performances from this past Friday

Joseph Bailey, North Forsyth: The Raiders’ kicker was a perfect 4-for-4 on point-after attempts and made a 35-yard field goal in a 31-0 victory over Forsyth Central.

Alex Brenner, Pinecrest Academy: The Paladins kicker made his only field goal attempt from 23 yards and had three touchbacks on kickoffs in Pinecrest’s 34-10 loss at King’s Ridge.

Christopher Birozes, Pinecrest Academy: The Paladins’ punter had five punts for 182 yards for an average of 36.4 yards per punt and kicked an extra-point in Pinecrest’s loss at King’s Ridge.

Cory Johnson, Forsyth Central: The junior linebacker had nine tackles in the Bulldogs’ 31-0 loss at North.

Hampton McConnell, West Forsyth: The junior quarterback was 10 of 14 passing for 100 yards and rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries in the Wolverines’ 58-28 loss to Gainesville.

Trevor O’Brien, West Forsyth: The junior running back rushed for 71 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries, averaging 4.7 yards per carry, in the Wolverines’ loss to Gainesville.

Jerret Paige, North Forsyth: The senior linebacker had eight tackles and one tackle for loss in the Raiders’ victory over Central.

Victor Peppers, Forsyth Central: The junior linebacker had 11 tackles and six assisted tackles in the Bulldogs’ loss at North.

Harris Roberts, North Forsyth: The senior quarterback was 6-for-11 passing for 71 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions and rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on five carries in the Raiders’ victory over Central.

Ryan Russomono, North Forsyth: The senior linebacker had four tackles, two sacks one tackle for loss and one caused fumble in the Raiders’ win over Central.
