When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at Ray Manus Stadium in Roswell.

Records, rankings: Lambert is 0-1 and unranked in Class 6A; Roswell is 1-0 and unranked in Class 6A.

Series history: Lambert leads 1-0.

Last meeting: Lambert won 19-17 in 2012.

What to know: Lambert will have its hands full with Roswell quarterback Matt Cory, who threw for three touchdowns in a 39-30 win over Centennial. The Hornets also proved they could effectively move the ball on the ground with touchdown runs from Kendrick Jackson and Shakur Jackson.

The Longhorns will need a better performance from the offense after falling at home to Etowah 27-10. Tucker Maxwell replaced quarterback Hayden McLeod in the first half and scored on a 76-yard run, but Lambert couldn’t find the end zone again. The Longhorns must have better play at the quarterback position to give them a chance to win.
