When, where: Tonight, 5:15 p.m., at North DeKalb Stadium in Chamblee.

Records, rankings: Pinecrest is 0-1 and unranked in Class 1A; Cross Keys is 0-1 and unranked in Class 3A.

Series history: First meeting.

What to know: Cross Keys isn’t much of a challenge. The Indians have won only six games since 2005 and are on a 14-game losing streak, including a 48-0 thumping by B.E.S.T. Academy.

Pinecrest will use the game to give freshman quarterback Ryan McCarthy his first start. McCarthy relieved Jake Mangan in the first half against King’s Ridge and threw for 86 yards on three completions in the 34-10 loss. Running back Andrew Wilborn carried the ball for 50 yards and one touchdown last week and will look to help take the pressure off McCarthy.
