When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at Forsyth Central Stadium in Cumming.

Records, rankings: South is 1-0 and unranked in Class 6A; Central is 0-1 and unranked in Class 5A.

Series history: South leads 11-5-1.

Last meeting: South won 41-14 in 2012.

What to know: South’s offense is clicking, while Central is experiencing some growing pains with its new spread option attack. The War Eagles had to rally from a three-point deficit with 1:25 left in the fourth quarter to defeat Northview 21-17, while Central lost to North Forsyth 31-0.

The Bulldogs must stop running backs Isaiah Williams and Tyler Laflamme if they are to pull the upset. Central had a difficult time against the run last week and must play more physical at the line of scrimmage. The Central offense will also need to limit turnovers, as both fumbles led to touchdowns.
