FORSYTH CENTRAL AT DAWSON COUNTY

When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at Tiger Stadium in Dawsonville.

Records, rankings: Central is 0-2 and unranked in Class 5A; Dawson is 2-1 and unranked in Class 3A.

Series history: Central leads 8-4.

Last meeting: Dawson won 48-29 in 2012.

What to know: Star receiver Jeremiah Jones is set to return to the team after serving a two-game suspension for violating team rules. Jones could make an immediate impact on an offense struggling to find its identity. Jones was named to the all-county first-team last season with 17 catches for 351 yards and six touchdowns. Quarterback Michael Branigan will welcome his receiver, as the offense has scored only 10 points to start the season.

Dawson County had troubles of its own last Friday. The Tigers fell 31-0 to North and gave up 208 yards on the ground. Central’s offensive line has to control the line of scrimmage to give the Bulldogs a chance.
