Bulldogs still looking for first win of the season

FORSYTH CENTRAL AT SPRAYBERRY

When, where: Tonight, 7:30 p.m., at Sprayberry High Stadium in Marietta.

Records, rankings: Central is 0-3 and unranked in Class 5A; Sprayberry is 0-3 and unranked in Class 5A.

Series history: Sprayberry leads 2-1.

Last meeting: Sprayberry won 31-28 in 2012.

What to know: One team will come away with its first win of the season. Sprayberry has lost by an average of 23 points to start the season. Central has lost on average by 20.6. The Bulldogs’ offense has shown the most improvement, as they have increased their scoring total by 10 points each week, coming within three points of Dawson County last week.

Central wide receiver Jeremiah Jones made his return to the team known with a 20-yard touchdown catch from Michael Branigan with only a few seconds left until halftime which gave the team a lead. Jones will need to continue his red-zone presence against Sprayberry.
