State Rep. Geoff Duncan has announced his intent to seek a second term to serve in his District 26 House seat.

In making his announcement, Duncan described it as “an honor to serve the citizens of Forsyth County.”

“During our first campaign, we pledged to not just make this about winning an election but to create a conservative movement throughout Georgia,” he said in a statement. “Today, I am proud to report that we have answered that call and we are gaining momentum all across this great state.”

Duncan, a small business owner and former Major League baseball player, has a conservative voting record at the Capitol and said he continues to prioritize his passion for family, faith, freedom and life.

Duncan has focused on fostering private sector job creation, reducing unnecessary government spending and fighting to eliminate regulations and taxes on families and businesses.

The lawmaker said he’s excited to run again because there are “so many common sense, conservative initiatives that I want to be a part of looking forward.”

“I want Georgia to be in a position to attract the best and brightest companies and workers from around the globe as a means to create a thriving economy,” he said.
