POSTED: January 13, 2014 12:29 a.m.

The Forsyth County Tea Party Patriot Alliance will hear from a young conservative during its meeting Monday.

The event, which is free and open to the public, is set for 7 p.m. at the Central Park Recreation Center meeting room, 2300 Keith Bridge Road.

Austin Paul, a senior at West Hall High School in nearby Hall County, will present information about Turning Point USA.

According to the organization’s website, Turning Point USA seeks to “educate students about fiscal responsibility, free markets and capitalism through non-partisan debate, dialogue and discussion.”

Paul, who plans to attend the U.S. Naval Academy, is a state director for the organization.

Prior to Paul’s presentation, Bradley J. Wilkins, chairman of the Forsyth County GOP, will field questions about the local party.
