POSTED: March 25, 2014 2:01 p.m.

Four county teams emerged victorious in this year’s Forsyth Challenge, an annual event for girls’ high school lacrosse programs.

Forsyth Central beat Pace Academy (11-8), North Forsyth took down Southwest DeKalb (16-9), South Forsyth cruised against Woodstock (17-6) and Lambert beat Cherokee (16-5).

West Forsyth fell to a talented St. Pius X team, 12-8. McKinley Puckett had four goals for the Lady Wolverines on 10 shots and helped West to a 6-6 tie at the half. But St. Pius X would pull away in the second for its fourth consecutive win.

Conner Parker, Monica Martelli, Sarah Grady and Erika Cross also scored for West.
