POSTED: March 29, 2014 12:45 a.m.

SOUTH FORSYTH -- Forsyth County Senior Services is presenting a community concert this weekend to benefit the Meals on Wheels program.

The concert is set for 2:30 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Sexton Hall Enrichment Center, 2115 Chloe Road in south Forsyth.

Classical pianist Daniela Tsi Gerber will perform along with flutist Cathy Morris and violinist Evey Farley.

Admission is $5 in advance or $8 at the door, with all proceeds benefiting Forsyth County Senior Services and the Meals on Wheels program.

With the assistance of volunteers, the program provided some 41,000 home-delivered hot meals to seniors in need last year.

Julie Gruen, special events team leader for senior services, said she and other organizers of the concert feel “fortunate to be able to offer a concert of this caliber for the community.”

“We are excited to have Daniela Tsi Gerber perform at the Sexton Hall Enrichment Center for her first concert outside of her native Brazil,” she said.

Ticket cost also includes light refreshments. For tickets or more information, call (770) 781-2178.
