BOYS GOLF

West Forsyth 160, Forsyth Central 174

Connor Pollman shot a 35 as the Wolverines won a non-region match Tuesday at the Polo Golf Club.

West was also led by Austin Jaynes (40), Sam Tuck (42) and Jacob Hobbs (43).

 

GIRLS LACROSSE

Pinecrest Academy 21, North Springs 5

Molly Dankowski had seven goals and three assists as the Lady Paladins cruised to an Area 3-A/AAAAA victory Tuesday at home.

Sarah DiFazio added four goals and five assists for Pinecrest (5-1, 4-0), while Alex Tilkin had three goals and four assists, Nika Brown had three goals and Rita Rojas added two goals.

West Forsyth 17, Archer 9

Madison Mueller had five goals and the Lady Wolverines cruised to a non-area victory Tuesday at home.

Sarah Grady added four goals for West (6-1, 4-0 3-AAAAAA), Ella Madson and Kelly Guthrie each scored three goals and Maggie Dickman and Allie Fagg scored on goal apiece.

 

BOYS LACROSSE

Lambert 17, Chattahoochee 0

Trey Arnold won his 500th career faceoff as the Longhorns cruised to an Area 3-AAAAAA victory Tuesday at home.

Arnold went 14-for-18 on faceoffs and added a team-high seven groundballs for Lambert (8-0, 4-0).

Matt O’Rourk had four goals and an assist, Peyton Miller and Alex Walker each had three goals, Bradley Wehman had two goals and Ryan Overbay had a goal and three assists.

Lambert also got goals from Jonny DiVirgilio, Hunter Clem, Eric Overbay and Cameron Barnes.

Jaryd Jean-Felix and Chris Price each had three takeaways, while goalie Ben Stump saved the only two shots on goal Lambert allowed.

Blessed Trinity 12, Forsyth Central 2

ROSWELL – Ryan Wilkins had two goals but it wasn’t enough as the Bulldogs dropped an Area 3-A/AAAAA game Tuesday on the road.

Other scores: Collins Hill 9, North Forsyth 5.

 

GIRLS SOCCER

Forsyth Central 3, Riverwood 1

The Lady Bulldogs kept their winning streak going with a Region 7-AAAAA, Div. B victory Tuesday at home.

Central (9-1, 3-0) got goals from Morgan Dech, Allie Hildebrandt and Kara Slaughter for its ninth straight win.

Pinecrest Academy 10, St. Francis 0

Erin Houlihan had four goals as the Lady Paladins cruised to a Region 6-A victory Tuesday at home.

Clair McDonald added three goals for Pinecrest (5-4, 4-0). The Lady Paladins also got goals from Maggie Bruckner, Margaret Metz and Ashley Triplett.

Houlihan and Triplett shared the shutout in goal.

 

BOYS SOCCER

Riverwood 5, Forsyth Central 2

The Bulldogs dropped their second straight Region 7-AAAAA, Div. B game Tuesday at home.

Central (7-3, 1-2) got goals from Alejandro Romero and Adrienne Sanchez.

Pinecrest Academy 10, St. Francis 0

Stuart Jeans, Ben Rivard and Connor Sassine each had two goals as the Paladins cruised to a Region 6-A victory Tuesday at home.

Pinecrest (5-4, 4-0) also got goals from Lucas Perez, Gabe Villar, Michael Birozes and Jimin Kang.

Goalkeepers Joe Meersman and Mikey Trainor shared the shutout.

Other scores: Lambert 4, Northview 1.
