Are you brushed up on your Harry Potter and Disney knowledge?

Because if you aren’t, there’s still time to crack open “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” or to binge-watch your favorite selection of Disney classics before the first-ever Harry Potter and Disney trivia nights hosted by local nonprofit Literacy Forsyth.

According to a press release from the organization, at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29, Literacy Forsyth will host its a Harry Potter trivia night at Rosati’s Pizza and Sports Pub, followed by a Disney trivia night on Nov. 19.

The release states that these events are meant to raise funds for adult education programs like GED courses, study materials and teacher salaries. Currently, there are over 13,000 adults in Forsyth County who do not have a high school diploma or GED, according to the release.

“Without these funds, we wouldn’t be able to provide free, flexible adult education programs in our county,” said Heather Dunn, Chair of the Literacy Forsyth Board of Directors, in the release. “We work to help these folks get their credentials and work toward a meaningful career.”

To support that goal, Rosati’s is reportedly donating a portion of all of proceeds from the trivia event to Literacy Forsyth.
