The March 26th meeting between the Forsyth County Commissioners, the Developers of “The Gathering at South Forsyth,” and the general public spelled the end of Forsyth County as we know it. Despite fine tuning the details of financing and taxpayer assurances that they won’t be on the hook for a failed endeavor, developers basically got the go-ahead to destroy a way of life that is all but gone in Greater Atlanta.
