PREP ROUNDUP: Forsyth Central softball gets walk-off region win

A recap of Forsyth County high school sports action

Forsyth Central 5, Sprayberry 4

The Lady Bulldogs scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning for a dramatic walk-off Region 7-AAAAA, Div. B victory Tuesday at home.

Central improved to 5-4 overall and 3-2 in the region.

Lambert 8, Johns Creek 2

Macy Stovall went 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBIs to lead the Lady Longhorns to a Region 6-AAAAAA victory Friday at home.

Lambert improved to 10-1 overall and 7-0 in the region.

Marissa Guimbarda got the win allowing five hits and two earned runs in a complete-game effort.

Alpharetta 9, West Forsyth 4

Peyton Erb went 3-for-4 with two RBIs but it wasn’t enough for the Lady Wolverines in a Region 6-AAAAAA loss Tuesday at home.

West fell to 6-5 overall and 4-3 in the region.

Bailley Concatto went 2-for-3 with a walk and an RBI, while Courtney Canady was 1-for-3 with a run scored.
