2016-17 Forsyth County News All-County Girls Basketball Team

Player of the Year: Margaret Metz, Pinecrest Academy, G, Sr.

Averaged 24.3 points a game this season to finish her career as the school’s all-time leading scorer - boys or girls - while leading team to first GHSA state playoff wins in school history.

Coach of the Year: Jaime Fisher, Lambert.

Led the Longhorns to 26-3 season with the program’s first region championship and state quarterfinals appearance in school history.
