Abba House is a Christian church with a ministry for women with addiction or mental health problems. After an orientation period, the women who receive ministry can bring their young children to live and heal with them. AH is one of the few programs where children can join their mothers as they are receiving ministry for addiction. On the border of Dawson and Forsyth counties, AH is the safe home many women have never had. Local churches and companies that partner with AH will have collection days where individuals can bring food, clothing, baby items and furniture to help support the ministries. Local churches will provide vouchers that can be redeemed at Abba's Treasures, a store Abba House has opened at 6800 Dahlonega Highway in Silver City. Needed items are food, clothing, baby clothing, baby beds, baby strollers, most other baby items, sofas, dressers, chairs, tables and other furniture. Abba House is a Christian church with a ministry for women with addiction or mental health problems. After an orientation period, the women who receive ministry can bring their young children to live and heal with them. AH is one of the few programs where children can join their mothers as they are receiving ministry for addiction. On the border of Dawson and Forsyth counties, AH is the safe home many women have never had. Local churches and companies that partner with AH will have collection days where individuals can bring food, clothing, baby items and furniture to help support the ministries. Needed items are food, clothing, baby clothing, baby beds, baby strollers, most other baby items, sofas, dressers, chairs, tables and other furniture.
