Trial set in drug trafficking case

GAINESVILLE — Two Cumming residents indicted on charges of possessing more than $60,000 in methamphetamine and other drugs are tentatively set for a July trial in Hall County Superior Court.

Robert Charles Glover, 40, and Rhonda Lynn Travis, 50, were arrested Jan. 8 in the 3800 block of Mundy Mill Road near Oakwood, according to the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad.

Hall Sheriff’s deputies and MANS agents found more than 600 grams of suspected methamphetamine, Adderall, a prescription stimulant and controlled substance and MDMA, a psychoactive drug.

Agents also found scales, packaging materials and a .45-caliber semi-automatic pistol.

Both face six felony weapon and drug charges: trafficking methamphetamine; possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute; possession of MDMA with the intent to distribute; possession of Adderall with the intent to distribute; possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony; and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Glover and Travis are being held without bond at the Hall County Jail.
