A fast moving fire destroyed a home on Preserve Crossing Lane on Friday.  Although the cause is under investigation, investigators say that lighning from a storm moving through the area is most likely going to be the cause.  While the home is likely a total loss, firefighters were able to locate the family dog in the home and revive it.
