A 20-year-old man last seen at the Rainbow Family Gathering in the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest was reported missing to the Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said Curtis Jay Elliott last spoke with friends and family on Thursday, July 5.

He was last seen at the gathering between July 1 and July 4.

“His family is very concerned about his whereabouts. It is uncharacteristic of CJ to not contact his parents,” according to the sheriff’s office’s news release.

Elliott is a white man with blue eyes and brown hair. He stands 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs roughly 135 pounds.

Elliott was last seen driving a 1993 gray Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Capt. Marcus Sewell at 706-482-2619 or Sheriff Stacy Jarrard at 706-482-2623.
