UPDATE 6 p.m.: According to authorities, Haylee Dingler has been located. No other information has been released.

Local authorities are now searching the county for a 13-year-old girl, who allegedly ran away from home over the weekend.

According to Cpl. Doug Rainwater, spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Haylee Dingler of Forsyth County, was last seen by her family at 3 p.m. Saturday at a residence in north Forsyth.

He said that the family later received information she had been spotted at Fowler Park in south Forsyth.

Rainwater said that at this point they believe that Dingler is not in any danger and is possibly with friends.

“There have been people in contact with her, we know she is safe, and we are convincing her to come home,” Rainwater said.

He said that anyone who has a location on Dingler, or has seen her in the last week, should call 911 or the non-emergency line (770) 781-3087 to relay that information to detectives.
