A bad day at Drivers Ed
A bad day at drivers ed

No one was injured when a driving student backed the car they were driving over an embankment in the aquatic center parking lot, only about a hundred yards from the drivers license testing facility.  Several emergency units responded to the area attempting to locate the car after the instructor who called 911 said they were unable to climb out of the vehicle, which was surrounded by trees and underbrush.

Traffic Response Vehicle

One of the units that responded is the new Traffic Response Vehicle, which is operated by the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.  The new truck will provide emergency roadside assistance to stranded motorists, but is also equipped with flood lights, arrow boards, and other equipment to assist at crash scenes and other emergencies.
