Beams being installed for new bridge at Six Mile Creek
roadwork

Bridge beams will be set on the new bridge over Six Mile Creek on Hwy. 369 tomorrow between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Single lane closure between 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. will be in effect and flagging operators will direct traffic.

Seven beams measuring 100-feet in length will be placed on the support structures in the lake. This project has a scheduled completion date of May 2019 and was awarded to E.R. Snell Contractor Inc., in February of 2017.

Officials urge drivers to slow down when arriving at the work zone. Flagging operators along with other construction crew members will be in close proximity to the road.
