Got lunch plans Sept. 18? If the answer is “no,” the Forsyth County Child Advocacy Center can help.
The center, which facilitates the investigation, treatment and prosecution of child abuse cases and works to prevent further abuse of children, will have lunch delivered to schools, businesses and organizations in the Cumming area on that day.
Dubbed the Lunch Bunch, the event is being catered by Outrageous Occasions, co-owned by two Child Advocacy Center board members.
For a $12 donation, the menu selection offers a chicken club wrap, chipotle turkey sandwich or a chicken Caesar salad, all served with a cookie and a bottle of water.
The sandwiches come with a side of salad and the salad comes with a breadstick.
The Lunch Bunch began in April and was supposed to happen three times a year. But after raising about $1,200, the center’s victim support manager Tennile Chapman, said the plan was revised to include more deliveries.
Meals can also be picked up at the center. Deliveries can be scheduled around office lunch breaks.
For more information or to place a lunch order, call (678) 208-1908 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with names, lunch selections, organization name and address.
Orders must be submitted by Monday. Deliveries will run from about 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
