Four from Forsyth make Bulldog 100

Four Forsyth County businesses were among those named to the 2014 Bulldog 100.

The annual program recognizes the fastest growing businesses owned or operated by University of Georgia alumni.

More than 700 nominations were submitted for the 2014 list.

Those from Cumming honored included:, David Testerman, UGA class of 1995 and Jeff Testerman, 1997; Forsyth Exterminating, Julie Ramirez, 2006; Red Clay Communications Inc., Joshua W. Jones, 2008; and Universal Servo Group LLC, Stewart Bloodworth and Larry Voss, both 1994.

The Bulldog 100 list, now in its fifth year, includes businesses of all sizes and from industries in a number of fields.

The honorees come from as far as New Jersey, Kansas and Texas, but 78 of the 100 are in Georgia.

Information submitted by the nominated businesses tracking their annual growth rate during a three-year period was verified by an Atlanta accounting firm.

The alumni on the list are invited to a dinner in their honor Jan. 25 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

The celebration will also feature a keynote address by Fran Tarkenton, a 1961 UGA graduate. He founded and is a Hall of Fame quarterback. He also is host of a show on SiriusXM Radio.
