Local attorney Tracy Moon has been elected to the board of trustees of the Lanier Technical College Foundation.

A lifelong resident of Forsyth County, Moon has extensive board experience.

He is chairman-elect of the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce board and also serves on the board of The Place of Forsyth County. He is past president of the Rotary Club of South Forsyth.

As a partner in the firm Fisher & Phillips, Moon represents employers in all aspects of labor and employment law. His experience includes representing employers before state and federal trial and appellate courts in a wide array of workplace-related matters.

Moon also represents employers before the National Labor Relations Board and other government agencies. He counsels and trains employers on labor and employment law, including conducting on-site compliance inspections and in-house management training programs.

He is a frequent speaker at various employment and labor law programs.

Moon graduated cum laude from Georgia State University College of Law in 1993. He earned his MBA from Georgia State in 1986. He also holds a bachelor of science degree from the University of Virginia.
