A new senior living community is coming to south Forsyth, according to the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce.

Aspire Development Partners is planning a 100-unit development that will be a mix of assisted living and memory care residences.

According to the chamber, Aspire has joined with Arbor Company to manage the community, which is expected to open in early 2014 at a site on Peachtree Parkway near the Laurel Springs Golf & Country Club neighborhood.

In making the announcement, Aspire managing partner David R. Hink cited the “exceptional growth and development in the area.”

Jason Mock, director of the chamber’s Healthcare Association of Forsyth County, welcomed the project.

“With our community’s growth and strong emphasis on the health care industry, a new senior living community is a benefit to the area,” he said in a statement.

“This development will also benefit our area by adding 50 jobs and more than $20 million in capital investment.”

Aspire Development Partners is a Georgia-based developer of senior living communities in the Southeast. Since 1995, the principals of Aspire have developed several senior living properties in the stae.

The Arbor Company has more than 20 years of experience in the development, management and marketing services of senior living communities.

“The people and leaders in this community have been very welcoming, and our hope is that Aspire’s innovative and integrative approach to senior living will be an exciting, new and value-adding asset to the area,” Hink said.
