SOUTH FORSYTH — The Collection at Forsyth will begin its free summer concert series Thursday.

Atlanta-area band, Last Five Standing, will perform from 7 to 9 p.m. in the center grassy area of the south Forsyth outdoor shopping mall.

Families can also take advantage of free activities for kids beginning at 6 p.m.

The second annual concert series will continue at the same time every other Thursday through July 24.

Other acts set to perform this summer are: Lance Price Band on June 26; Cole Thannisch on July 10; and James Patrick Morgan on July 24.

Joe Turnbaugh, property manager of The Collection at Forsyth, said this year’s lineup includes “past favorites as well as newcomers.”

Shoppers at The Collection can also be entered to win an enhanced concert experience with VIP seating and a free dinner for two at Sip Wine & Tapas for July 24.

Turnbaugh is hoping for a good turnout at all the performances.

“We’re excited to bring back our Concerts at The Collection series after last summer’s successful turnout,” he said in a statement.

“This series is a great way to kick off the summer, and we’re looking forward to Collection at Forsyth shoppers and neighbors coming out to enjoy some local music and entertainment.”
