UNG agile marketing expert to speak at library

WEST FORSYTH -- A speaker from the University of North Georgia is hoping to give locals some insight into agile marketing.

On Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 7 p.m., the Mike Cottrell College of Business at the University of North Georgia will host marketing manager and instructor Nick Kastner as part of the school’s MBA Speaker Series at the Post Road Library.

Kastner’s address will focus on agile marketing that “accelerates and adds flexibility to traditional marketing practices, allowing businesses to act quickly on opportunities to attract and retain customers.”

“In some ways, agile marketing allows greater growth opportunity for organizations. We all know that things in today’s business environment can change rapidly. Agile marketing allows for organizations to respond to that change quickly, rather than waiting until the next marketing planning session,” Kastner said in a news release.

The event is free to attend, though registration is encouraged.

The speaker series began in January and will conclude on Nov. 2 with a presentation on transformational leadership by Wendy Walker, also at Post Road Library.

The Mike Cottrell College of Business is located at the top floor of Cumming City Hall.
