A new, independently owned RE/MAX location recently opened in Cumming.

Gloria Buice has opened RE/MAX Traditions at 418 Pirkle Ferry Road, Suite 107.

Buice said in a statement that she felt the "time was right to open my own company."

"My previous broker closed the Cumming office earlier this year, and I strongly believe there is a need for a RE/MAX presence in Forsyth County," she said.

The RE/MAX office has two experienced agents on staff, and Buice said she expects to add more in the near future.

"The current market presents many challenges, but we feel especially optimistic about the future," she said.

Citing her more than 25 years experience in the Forsyth County real estate market, Buice said she can "bring the knowledge and experience homebuyers and sellers need in today's environment."
