CUMMING — A U.S. congressman who represents south Forsyth is holding a town hall meeting Thursday night at the National Guard Regional Readiness Center in Cumming.

U.S. Rep. Rob Woodall, whose 7th District also includes a large swath of Gwinnett County, will address issues and field questions during the session, which is set for 7 to 8 p.m.

The format of the meeting will follow a typical town hall, in which Woodall will introduce topics and review current events, according to Martin Wattenbarger, a spokesman for the congressman.

Budgetary topics and upcoming legislative priorities will be discussed, Wattenbarger said, though questions will also be taken about anything the audience wants to ask.

Woodall serves as chairman of the Rules Subcommittee on Legislative and Budget Process and serves on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Budget Committee.

The center is at 100 Aquatic Circle, off Pilgrim Mill Road near Ga. 400 at Exit 16.
