In an effort to reduce tractor trailer crashes, the Georgia Targeting Aggressive Cars and Trucks, or TACT, program begins Monday in Fulton and Forsyth counties.

Police officers, sheriff's deputies and Georgia State Patrol troopers will patrol along the Ga. 400 corridor, concentrating on risky driving around commercial motor vehicles.

As part of the education and enforcement effort, there will be six, weeklong patrols on the corridor between Monday and the end of July.

The program is a project of the Georgia Department of Public Safety and the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
