Crash in north Forsyth injures Gainesville man
emergency

NORTH FORSYTH – A two-vehicle crash at a busy north Forsyth intersection sent two people to a hospital and disrupted the Wednesday morning commute.

The collision occurred about 8:30 a.m. at the corner of Keith Bridge Road (Hwy. 306) and Browns Bridge Road (Hwy. 369).

The 25-year-old driver of a 2003 Jeep Liberty reportedly pulled out of a gas station and into the path of a car in the turning lane on Hwy. 306, according to Epifanio Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.

No charges have been filed, but Rodriguez said the woman, who is from Cumming, is thought to be at fault.

Her 30-year-old male passenger from Gainesville was taken to an area hospital with what were described as non-life threatening injuries, Rodriguez said.

The driver of the 2012 Ford Focus that was struck, also a 25-year-old woman from Cumming, was taken to a hospital and later released.

The road was closed for about an hour, according to Rodriguez.
