A woman was hurt Thursday morning when her van overturned and went down an embankment on Matt Highway (Ga. 369).

Forsyth County Fire Capt. Jason Shivers said the woman, whose name has not been released, was taken to Northside Hospital-Forsyth for treatment of arm and shoulder injuries.

The eastbound Kia van she wass driving left the road and rolled through a fence, snapping a power pole as it fell.

Firefighters were able to remove the woman quickly because the power line stayed on the pole.

The woman was traveling alone. No other vehicles were involved.
