400 crash

A 23-year-old Atlanta man was arrested for driving under the influence after his 2005 gold Honda Accord landed on its side in the Ga. 400 median by Exit 16/Pilgrim Mill Road after being involved in a single-vehicle wreck Monday afternoon.

Around 2:45 p.m. July 3, James Vo, 23, of Atlanta, was allegedly driving drunk on Ga. 400 southbound “in a reckless manner” when he “failed to maintain his lane of travel and left the roadway on the left side, where his vehicle landed against the northbound guardrail,” according to Robin Stone, a spokeswoman for Georgia State Patrol, which worked the scene.

Vo was charged with failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, possession of an open container in the passenger area and DUI.

He was not injured in the wreck and was transported to the Forsyth County Jail where he later posted a $6,300 bond.
