The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Lumpkin County man and charged him with multiple counts of strong-arm rape for a series of alleged assaults on a juvenile family member.

Ralph Junior Rogers, 38, of Dahlonega was taken into custody by the sheriff’s office on Wednesday afternoon and has been accused of “forcibly having sex with” a 12-year-old female relative four times over a span of several months, according to sheriff’s office spokesman Cpl. Doug Rainwater.

Rainwater said that the sheriff’s office investigation into the charges made against Rodgers showed that the alleged incident did take place within Forsyth County. After Rodgers was questioned on Wednesday, he was placed under arrest.

Rogers has been charged with four counts of strong-arm rape and is being held in the Forsyth County Jail under no bond.
