Forsyth County authorities say that a local woman has been arrested on drug charges after she allegedly sold methamphetamine to an undercover officer in April.

April Dawn Guest, 30, was arrested in Dawson County for Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office warrants on Wednesday, Sept. 5.

According to sheriff’s office spokesman Cpl. Doug Rainwater, Guest is allegedly a “well-known methamphetamine dealer in the Forsyth County area” and warrants were taken out for her arrest after she allegedly sold methamphetamine to an undercover officer with the Johns Creek Alpharetta Forsyth County Drug Task Force on April 24.

Rainwater said that because Guest was deemed not to pose a threat to the public, she was allowed to leave the alleged deal while warrants were issued.

On Wednesday, Guest was charged with sale of a schedule 1 controlled substance and criminal use of communication facility and was transported to the Forsyth County Jail.

She is being held in custody under no bond.

Guest pled guilty in 2011 to one felony count for possession of methamphetamine in the Dawson County Superior Court.
