FORSYTH COUNTY – A 27-year-old Forsyth County resident was arrested Wednesday on heroin charges after the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit concluded an investigation.

Tyler Ellis Parker was charged on Wednesday, March 1 with possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of heroin and possession of drug related objects, according to Deputy Doug Rainwater, a spokesman for the sheriff’s office.

“[Parker] lives here and was selling here and this is the second time he’s been in our jail for similar charges,” Rainwater said.

Rainwater said the sheriff’s office is not releasing the amount of drugs or their value, due to other ongoing investigations.

Parker is being held without bond at the Forsyth County Jail.
