A 20-year-old Johns Creek man was arrested for driving under the influence after his over-packed truck passed a patrol vehicle and hit a car.

According to a Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office incident report, the police car was parked on the side of McGinnis Ferry Road when the deputy saw a four-door truck pass with the front seat passenger sitting on the window frame of the door.

The 20-year-old Alpharetta man only has his legs and feet inside the vehicle, the report stated.

When the driver attempted to pull over upon seeing the blue lights pull behind him, he reportedly hit an occupied vehicle.

There were no injuries in the accident.

He had a total of six passengers, all of whom were between the ages of 18 and 20 and appeared to be intoxicated.

They apparently were leaving Lake Lanier Islands. The driver was transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center after being given a shirt and shoes.
