A Forsyth County man was arrested by local authorities last week, charged for rape with the use of a gun.
Adam Scott Terry, 21, was arrested at a residence on Crystal Cove Trail in north Forsyth on Sept. 18, 2019, according to Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Deputy Nick Sotor.
Sotor stated that any details concerning Terry’s alleged offenses are sealed or confidential and can’t be released.
The charge of rape with the use of a gun, he said, means that a firearm was present during the alleged offense, “however, it does not mean that the gun was actually used to assault or threaten the victim.”
Terry has been booked into the Forsyth County Jail and is being held under no bond.
