A 41-year-old man has been indicted on nearly two dozen counts of sexually-related offenses involving children.

A Forsyth County grand jury indicted Kennth Dustin Grant of Stoneview Court on charges of child molestation, aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery and sexual exploitation of children.

The 23-count indictment, filed Oct. 5 in Forsyth County Superior Court, contends Grant molested a 15-year-old girl in 2008 and in 2007 took sexually explicit photographs of her female relative, who was also 15 at the time.

It also maintains he knowingly possessed pictures of other minors engaged in various sexual activities.

Forsyth County Chief Assistant District Attorney Sandra Partridge declined to comment extensively on the case.

“This is the beginning of the process and we expect to go forward,” she said.

Attempts to reach Grant’s attorney were not successful.

Grant’s arraignment is scheduled for November.

A Forsyth County jail spokeswoman confirmed Grant was arrested in December on charges of aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, statutory rape and possession of marijuana and was released on $82,500 bond.

He was arrested again Jan. 18 and charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of children.

Grant was released the next day on a $56,000 bond and is required to wear an electronic ankle monitor.
