Police do not suspect foul play in the death of a 38-year-old man, whose body was found early Tuesday in a Cumming Fairgrounds parking lot.
According to a Cumming police report, the man’s body was in a vehicle at the parking lot across from the fairgrounds’ main entrance.
The report said the man “suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.”
Police Sgt. Bryan Zimbardi said a police officer made the discovery about midnight after noticing the vehicle in the lot.
The man, a county resident, had been reported as missing Monday to the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
