A Forsyth County man has been charged in connection with a theft at a local pharmacy.
Christopher Moran was arrested Monday and charged with burglary and fraudulently obtaining a controlled substance by theft, according to Cumming police.
A police report showed Moran entered Goodson’s Drugs in downtown Cumming about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
“Moran damaged and compromised an exterior door and stole a large amount of controlled prescription medications,” the report said.
Investigators with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the case.
Store management could not be reached for comment Tuesday afternoon.
Moran, 51, remained in custody at the Forsyth County Detention Center, according to a jail spokeswoman. Bond has not been set.
