The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a reported attempted child abduction at The Collections at 410 Peachtree Parkway, according to a Facebook post by the law enforcement agency.

Deputies are looking for a white male, about 30 years-old, with a medium build and possibly dark hair.

The child’s father intervened in the incident and the child is safe and unharmed.

Cpl. Doug Rainwater, a spokesman with Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, said the agency "is questioning someone right now" in the matter.

Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person of interest. 

"No charges are pending in this incident and deputies simply wish to speak to this individual," stated the sheriff's office Facebook post.
