Authorities are searching for a suspect in connection with an armed robbery at a local business.

Cumming Police Sgt. Bryan Zimbardi said the suspect, described as a white man in his mid-20s, got away before officers arrived Wednesday night at Puff N Stuff, 410 Atlanta Road.

Zimbardi said the man entered the store and held a gun to a customer’s head. He then reportedly told the store clerk to give him money or he’d kill the customer.

He left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Zimbardi said authorities are also looking for the customer, who apparently left before officers could talk to him. 

He said investigators are reviewing video footage from the site.
