The murders of Glenn Turner and Randy Thompson by the late Lynn Turner, a Forsyth County native, will be featured on a TV show tonight.

The Investigation Discovery network will air an episode of “Motives & Murders” focused on the Turner story at 10 p.m.

According to a news release from Investigation Discovery, “Motives & Murders” focuses on the minds of criminal investigators as they reveal untold stories behind the captures of notorious killers.

In 2007, Lynn Turner was convicted and sentenced to life without parole for the 2001 poisoning death of her boyfriend Thompson, a Forsyth County firefighter.

At that time, she was serving a life sentence for using antifreeze to kill husband Glenn Turner, a former Cobb County police officer, in 1995.

In August 2010, Lynn Turner was found dead in her cell at Metro State Prison in Atlanta. Her death was later ruled a suicide.
