Authorities are currently scouring a private lake off Dahlonega Highway in north Forsyth County in search of a man that reportedly went missing while fishing on Saturday night. 

According to Forsyth County Fire Department spokesman Jason Shivers, at about 6:40 p.m., the missing 28-year-old man was seen struggling in the water after his boat overturned on the 35-acre private lake and never resurfaced. 

Searchers from the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, fire department and other agencies responded to the drowning to search for the man's body, but due to low visibility, the search was eventually called off for the night. 

When the search resumed on Sunday morning, Shivers said that they were aided by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Georgia State Patrol Aviation Unit and a private search team, Alpha Team K9 Search and Rescue.

At about 3:15 on Sunday afternoon, the body of 28-year-old Saul Sanchez, of Roswell was recovered from the water and pronounced dead at the scene. 

The incident is initially being considered an accidental drowning, according to authorities, an autopsy of Sanchez's body will be completed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation Crime Lab.
