At their meeting on Jan. 18, the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners presented a resolution commending Clayton Wells for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. For his Eagle Scout project, Wells partnered with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to supervise his fellow Troop 1099 scouts and adult volunteers in the removal and replacing of the roof on a vintage log cabin that houses equipment for adults and children with special needs who visit Lake Lanier. Wells is a senior at Lambert High School and member of Troop 1099 of the Boy Scouts of America.
