FORSYTH COUNTY — The Forsyth County school system has announced all after-school activities and athletics must be finished by 6 p.m. Tuesday due to the threat of inclement weather.

All elementary after-school child care programs will close at their normal times.

The weather forecast calls for snow flurries through the afternoon with wind gusts up to 25 mph before becoming cloudy when the temperature drops below freezing.

Parents are asked to check their children’s school website for information on rescheduling of activities and athletics.

It is expected to be sunny Wednesday. A decision due to a change in weather is made for school closures or delays by 5 a.m.
