Team MBA is ready for round three.
North Georgia College & State University’s Cumming-based master of business administration program is now accepting applications for its third class.
Members of its first class will receive degrees in May and August.
“We have 24 students graduating of 25,” said John Douglas, program director. “The one got a nice promotion and moved to Chattanooga.
“We were excited about our retention rate. Once they get in the program, they stay. They seem to be pleased with it and with what they’re learning.”
Every month since October, Team MBA, held on the top floor of Cumming City Hall, has held an open house to introduce the community to the program. The next one will be from 5-6:30 p.m. April 13.
With an application deadline of May 30, Douglas is encouraging prospective students to take a look.
“We’ve received quite a few applications,” Douglas said. “The third incoming class … will start in August.”
